1. Starting a business this year
I’ve heard at least two mlm experts say that
right now in the spring of 2009 is the best time ever to start a home
business. Why? Well, the economy is going into the tank and
it’s not coming out for a long time. That means there are going to
be thousands of people out of work who haven’t been out of work before.
These same folks may have previously shunned the idea of having a business
that operated from their home but when the income from the employer stops
thenthe idea of becoming your own boss looks somehow better.
So what do we have to offer a person in that situation? Should we just
get them started in a mlm program, you know the one we’re in and have been
struggling to make it? Or do you think there might be a better model, one
that has a better record of success?
One of the key ideas of attracting someone to
do business with us would be to provide him or her with a blueprint,
a proven systemor method that could insure success if they just followed
the plan. There are several out there on the Internet that could be
just the right one. But which one would it be?
Ah! There’s the rub. Which one is the best. Well let’s look at it for a
minute. Is the one you’re in working for you? If it isn’t could it be that
the way you’ve been marketing should be changed? I don’t know, I’m just
asking the questions. I think there are some excellent possibilities and
I’ll share them with you.
I’ve recently discovered an organization, actually it’s an online
university, that provides a way to build a database of leads either free or
inexpensively using various services on the Internet. These include but are
not limited to Social Media, Auto-responders, blogs, writing articles, etc.
Some of these methods have been around for a long time others are
relatively new. The idea now is to amalgamate them all together and make each
one work for you.
It’s called Attraction Marketing
or marketing by attraction. The idea is to provide valuable information
in exchange for contact information. Once someone becomes a part
of your mailing list you continue to feed him or her important and
reliable content. As you gradually build influence with them they become
amenable to the idea of doing business with you. As you continue to give to
them they are a part of your life time database. Well, there’s much more to
it and you can discover it for yourself at Renegade
University. I’ll meet you there.

2. Do we really want a Stimulous Package?
I’ve been thinking about the stimulus package our government is working
on. They are planning to give money away, hey! that’s our money, to
folks they think need it. I’m sure there is some pork in the deal, which
won’t help the pig farmers, it’s not that kind of pork.
I, for one, don’t want any of the government money. I want to be able to
tell my great grand children that I had no part in creating financial bondage
for them back in 2009. Any time we give our money to the government in the
form of taxes, and they give it back to us it comes with strings
attached. It’s part of the reason the federal government is so
powerful, they manipulate by witholding promised money if we don’t go
along with their program.
I don’t doubt that all this is well intentioned to help us little people
who are unable to take care of ourselves. However, I do question the wisdom
and even the motives behind their concern. When I speak of “they” I mean the
policy and law makers in our government. They are real people and
we elected, at least some of them are, to do our bidding. But once elected
we don’t seem to have so much say in how they do the doing of it.
In the extreme I alway kind of thought that Democrats were the
socialistsand Republicans were the capitalists. But reading the tea leaves I
see in the national press or media I’m thinking they have both merged into
the great, pollitically correct, scheme of current
socialization, equalization, everybody’s equal, everything’s okay,
relativism, don’t offend anybody, everybody doing what’s right in
their own eyes and anyone looking on better approve or they will be
castigated as being outside the norm or even a bigot. Everybody just get
along. Wow, where’s the back bone? Where’s the principal? What is happening
to America? The questions just get bigger and bigger.
We seem to love debt and yet we know, or at least should know, that a
debtor is slave to the lender, weather that’s a person, an institution or
another country. So finally it’s caught up with us. The wise ones have
been telling us that someday our debt would overwhelm us just like a big
wave finally breaks over it’s own top. Well the day has come and instead
of sucking it up and cutting back on our lifestyle we chose to have our
legislators and leaders print more money and borrow more money and give more
money away.
The day of reckoning will come soon and our once powerful and blessed
country will go the way of all great nations who fail to listen to the voice
of reason and wisdom. We want what we want and we want it now is a policy
that cannot last forever. If we fail to remember the lessons our
grandparents taught us about thrift and saving and prudent economy we will
no longer have the riches and freedom so long enjoyed by our citizens.
3. Do you ever wonder what other people think about your business?
Hello %%name%%,
Do you ever wonder what other people think about your
business? What do you think they are thinking when your are telling them how
much money they can make if they join you? It would be an interesting
study to find out what others are really thinking when we are "laying it on
them" about how they can get rich, live a life of luxury and fire the boss by
building an mlm business. Maybe not knowing that information is part of the
reason so many start and never finish or succeed at what sounds like an easy
business that anyone can do.
Maybe it's time for a new look at the way we do business.
I'm sure some are already using Attraction Marketing, but I perceive that many
are not. I'm not talking about the "Law of Attraction" that has become so
popular. I'm talking about tools, techniques and an attitude of giving first. If
you google this or look for it on You Tube you will find much info about it. In
a sense it's not much different that the sales training you would get from Zig
Ziglar or Tom Hopkins. There some things that are just basic.
For example, you are probably aware that most people
are more interested in themselves and their problems than they are in anyone
elses. There is plenty of evidence to support this idea. How about you? Don't
your find that your primary concern is for your self and your family? I think
that is normal and probably a healthy place to be. So if we desire to have
someone become interested in us our business we must first become interested in
them and what they want. Dale Carnegie spoke of this in his classic book, " How
to win friends and influence people". You can see this is not a new idea, just
one that is easy to forget.
The bible is repleat with references to consider others
before ourselves, and to esteem them above us. So it's good that there is a
resurgence of this kind of thinking. The internet also makes it possible to
express this idea in such a way that many people will see it. There is much more
to say about this subject but for now this is a beginning. I have added a banner
at the bottom of the letter to a resource I recently discovered. If you have
ever struggled to get things going in your networking business, or any business
for that matter, I think you will find this short ebook to be something of
value. It's free to download. I hope you get as much from it as I
did.

5. Social Networking
I'm fairly new to the idea of Social Networking. I do have
Facebook and Twitter accounts but haven't
really used them until now. There are several network marketing businesses that
have as their express purpose the training of marketers to use social networking
to build their mlm business. The results are in...it's working. The numbers of
new recruits and volume of business are testimony to their success.
My primary lead generation and training site is Veretekk. At the present
time it's undergoing some major changes, behind the scenes, to be and become a
leader in this new turn of direction in online marketing. April 1st is the day
the wraps come off, no kidding. Even as the time approaches we are seeing the
effects of some of the backroom activity. I'll keep you posted as I learn
more.
Grace and Peace to you and yours,

6. A Brief History of Aloe Vera
The Abundant Life Newsletter
A brief history of Aloe
Vera
The history of aloe vera goes back several millennia.
Recorded history indicates that Ancient Egyptians were among the first to have
understood and valued aloe vera for its multiple natural health benefits and
healing properties. Aloe vera was considered to be one of the most effective
medicinal plants and used extensively in the treatment of various health
conditions.
Several hundred years later King Solomon, Alexander the
Great and Marco Polo propagated the natural healing properties of aloe vera.
Ancient Persians, Japanese, Russian, Indian, and Chinese healers have generously
used the aloe vera plant as a form of natural medicine
for over centuries. The history of aloe vera also
involved Greek and Roman physicians, who used aloe vera to treat numerous
disorders. Today, we know that there are about 200
species of aloe vera cultivated across different continents.
A note about Aloe Vera
History
Herbs are God and nature's gifts
to us. While the use of herbs and herb remedies has brought excellent results
for many people, do note that their health benefits
may be limited when they are used in isolation. However, when combined with
some basic dietary and lifestyle good health habits,
such as a full body detox and a proper understanding and application of
nutrition, the impact on one's health will be greatly
magnified.
In natural health and healing, we
believe that the body has the ability to heal itself of any disease, even
supposedly incurable diseases. We also believe in
holistic health and healing, as we realize that different parts of the human
body are highly interlinked, often beyond Man’s
understanding. It is thus a good idea to apply these fundamental health steps no
matter how remote
or unrelated a health condition may seem.
With the advent of the Space Age, all traditional and
natural healing remedies were largely forgotten until very recently when we rediscovered the numerous nutritive and natural health
benefits of aloe vera. It is only in the last few years that aloe vera has regained its lost popularity as a natural healing
plant across the world and it is primarily due to its two extraordinary characteristic features; the first being its ability
to work as a natural remedy in treating multiple external and internal conditions, and the second is because of its availability
in numerous forms.
Throughout the history of aloe vera, the plant in its
various avatars was extremely effective in curing a large number of ailments and hence was referred to as the “Plant of Immortality”
and was inscribed on the tombs of pharaohs. Based
purely on its natural healing characteristics, aloe vera is also referred to as
the First Aid Plant, Wand of Heaven, Silent Healer,
and Miracle Plant. Scientifically, aloe vera is best known as Medicinal Aloe,
and is a species of succulent plant, which originated
in northern Africa.
Aloe is a derivative from the Arabic word alloch meaning
shiny, bitter substances. The species name Vera means true or genuine. All in all, aloe vera is most popular for the scores of
health benefits it provides.

8. Inept Government…Help Yourself!
Abundantlife Newsletter
The following seven paragraphs point out
some financial problems we are knee-deep within, but read to the end and
find some encouragement.
I'm sure most you you readers have been
affected by the "Economic Crisis" we are in. If you have
an Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) your rates have risen way beyond the
enticing low entry rates.
Interest rates have fallen, but due to greed
and financial concern the rates banks charge their customers remains
high.
It is NOT the result of lack of regulation. It is the
result of the harmful loans for unqualified home buyers demanded by corrupt
politicians and guaranteed by Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac. A POLITICAL FORM
OF "OVER-REGULATION"!
After phony assurances by numerous
paid-off politicians Fannie and Freddie are BANKRUPT! Now all taxpayers
are on the hook for "Bail-Out".
The continued inflationary wholesale
printing of "Fiat" money (backed only by a promise) is costly, and now we
are promised greater deficit spending compounded by greater and greater taxes
on everyone!
Increased "Social Programs" and government employment are
the greatest drag on the economy, because they are paid out of taxes which
are received as taxes. GOVERNMENT PRODUCES ZERO NET GAIN! This is
compound interest in REVERSE! You lose!
BIG GOVERNMENT AND
SOCIALISM are companions in the destruction of CAPITALISM. US
capitalism is what produced the greatest country in history.
Now for a
couple very positive comments.
The impending large and small bankruptcies
and faulty bail-outs will cause many problems for great numbers of people,
but it will also provide enormous possibilities for those who refuse to
quiver and whine.
A new found internet friend has just introduced me
to a program whereby you can shorten the length of your mortgage and pay
much, much less interest. This is especially helpful for those of you
who are current.
It is NOT the normal "make an extra payment here
and there", but is a change in how you pay your principle down and have
money available for your other normal expenses. Visit David Tampien's site

9. Socialism is still bad news.
SOCIALISM IS STILL BAD NEWS - (Print)
Most Americans might not really appreciate this, but the U.S. Constitution
does not entitle anybody to health insurance.
It's true.
The Constitution does not require Congress to take money from those Americans
who possess more and hand it over to those with less. It doesn’t even encourage
Congress to subsidize farmers or pay for prescription medications. It just
doesn't.
In Article I Section 8, the Constitution does say:
"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts
and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general
Welfare of the United States…"
It goes on to talk about securing patents for scientists and establishing
postal offices and roads and supporting armies and maintaining a navy. It says
nothing about feeding all the downtrodden. There were plenty of poor people back
in the days of the Founders, and they did not once mention using taxes to feed
'em. Apparently, providing for the general Welfare did include
maintaining roads and hiring judges and keeping the peace, and did not
include buying tuna fish for single moms.
Does that mean we should let the poor starve to death? Should we leave our
grandparents without support or health care? Of course not. It just was never
supposed to be the federal government's job to take care of these things. Here's
why:
- Congress is not an industry. It does not produce anything that can be
sold. It must take money from the people in order to pay for anything.
- Governments are by nature wasteful. It's easy to overspend money when the
funds come from somebody else’s hard work.
- Governments are run by imperfect humans and are therefore subject to
mismanagement. For this reason, it is best to keep them small and easily
managed, with very specified responsibilities.
- Governments are run by imperfect humans and are therefore subject to
corruption. For this reason, it is best to keep them out of trouble by
limiting their power. (Lobbyists and special interest groups could just go
home were Congress kept within its constitutional limits.)
- Bigger government means more bureaucracy, more government fingers in
private lives, and less liberty.
Socialism is corrupt by nature. As soon as Congress started taking
money from taxpayers to give it to somebody else, the whole idea of private
property was compromised. My property is not really mine if the government
officials can stick me in jail for not giving some of it to them.
As George Mason University economics professor Walter E. Williams
wrote recently:
"Whatever Congress wishes to give, it has to first take other
people's money. Thus, at the root of the welfare state is the immorality of
intimidation, threats and coercion backed up with the threat of violence by
the agents of the U.S. Congress. In order for Congress to do what some
Americans deem as good, it must first do evil. It must do that which if done
privately would mean a jail sentence; namely, take the property of one
American to give to another."
But...if the federal government did not take care of poverty, of
health care, of the elderly, then who would do it! Who would take care of all
these things that need serious attention?
We would, of course. We the people.
We are caring for people every day in communities all across this
great nation without any government involvement. Unfortunately, we Americans
have gotten so spoiled, we're in danger of losing the ability to properly govern
ourselves. We think that "freedom" means license to do whatever we want to do.
We think that "general welfare" means adding on to that massive government
feeding trough. As we have stopped obeying God's Word and controlling ourselves,
as we have gone lax in caring for our own families, young and old, we have found
ourselves in an increasingly deep hole, surrounded by a growing number of
government officials, along with red tape and high taxes, and... the poor still
with us.
Let's get back to taking responsibility for ourselves, to doing what
is right ourselves, and maybe we will find the federal government shrinking as a
natural result.
10. New Video Tutorials As we get more video tutorials in our Veretekk system it becomes an easier to navigate program. I think there are times when newcomers become overwhelmed with the size and scope of the gold system. The addition of Tom Prendergast's recorded video training will most likely make the learning curve much shorter and not so steep.
I write this note mostly as an encouragement to marketers who may not have the time to fit live training into their schedule. That doesn't reduce the need for live training but sometimes the schedule doesn't match the daily activity. Also I'm finding that some things I didin't use because I didn't understand how they actually worked are now becoming a part of my Veretekk experience.11. More about VereConference Every day that goes by more information is added to our system about VereConference. Even now there are upgrades and enhancements being added. Tom and Mike and the whole team are committed to making this Web Conference Room the one to find at the top of Google.
The Search Engines will find it because we are doing the right thing in adding more relevant content to the site. Anything connected with Vereconference is for the purpose of helping it get found by searchers. There is no limit to the opportunity for use of such a Webcasting room.
The more you use it the more the ideas come to do more with it. Each person brings his or her ideas or experience and shares it with our group. These are exciting times at Veretekk.12. Another Busy Day Well we had another meeting today to learn and be encouraged just how best to get our site to the top of the search engines. We are focusing, as a group, by submitting new content to our forum site. We are using a proven method in that the SE's like new and constructive content.
As a group we are always learning and we have some of the best teachers in the world of online business. This is an exciting adventure.
I also have a concern or rather an interest in combining my interest in business with my Christian life. With Veretekk this is working well. There is no shortage of fellow Christians who are also involved in this business with me.
That's all for today.
Daviid Tampien13. A new addition Veretekk continues to add features to their new Vereconference room. In the coming months there will be additional services and features. Even as it stands today you will find our conference room able to handle most all of anything your might demand from it.
